replacing all occurrences of font A with font B

Postby stu2 » Sat Jun 12, 2010 9:31 pm

I've been having trouble keeping my Hebrew and Greek fonts straight as I switch between 3 keyboards. And now I have some Hebrew sections with font A, but I really want each of those to be with font B. I couldn't figure out how to do a search/replace by font. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Stu

Off the top of my head, I don't believe that there is a way to run a F&R for a specific font.

However, if you were using styles, you can do a F&R for styles. It is also far easier to change large sections of text from one font to another if you keep your styles in order.

It is quite possible to change a font into another: F&R choose 'anything' and then choose the font in the font palette.
Replace by 'found element' and again choose the font you want in the palette.
It is of course a lot easier to change character-style if you have been consistent in using them - and after all, the styles are the best of all the many reasons to use Mellel.
